Most of the 2017s are stained from the mint. They have black blotches and specks. I've gone through roll after roll and have found only a few that stand up to naked eye examination, and only 2 that look presentable under magnification. In 20 years, there may be only a few that grade higher than 50. Rule of thumb, if you fins a shield back without blotching, spotting, or smudgy look, KEEP IT. The 2018s are only a little better, but not much.

I have a 1964 D penny, a 1969 D penny, a 1980 D penny, a 1978 D penny, a 2017 P penny all in good condition and a 1955 wheat penny in “ok” condition, would anyone like to buy any of them

Im going to be watching many of your videos so glad to discover your channel. My entire life Ive collected coins only from in my change besides a bicentennial set since I couldnt really afford coin collecting. A month or so ago I finally went to my first coin shop and bought a 1900-0 Morgan Silver Dollar. And just a few days ago I was able to go to a bank (not my local since they dont offer rolled coins unless you order bulk in advance online) i was able to get 95 rolls of pennies and 13 rolls of knickels. 45 of the rolls are 2017 P cents and just to make sure I opened a roll and was shocked that almost the entire roll had die cracks, cud, or bubbling of the planchet. I havent opened any of the other 45 yet because I need to stock up on coin rolls and other supplies to carefully handle the coins but I was wondeeing what things I shoukd keep an eye out for especially error wise with the 2017 p….In the other cirrculated box of pennies I was able to pull out a 1955 ddo in well currculated condition and a 2000 wide am. I still need to search through the coins more I did an initial coin pulling out somebcherry picker list coins but Im going to sort them all by year and look up error list and value guides. There were some real shiny new looking older coins in there so if im lucky something else special will show up. Im going to go through the links in your description and watch your other videos but let me know if you have any other advice for when coin roll hunting. I decided to set aside money each week towards coin roll hunting and any returned coins will go towards getting more coins so any advice for a newbie coin roll hunter would be great
