As a swede sure the education is free, but you need to live somewhere during that time, buy books and so on. I had the equivalent of $18.000 in student debt after graduation from mechanical engineering studies. It has a very low interest rate though and also will just disappear if I die.

He is not kidding about Europe having a lot of alcohol. If you go to France, it is literally impossible to visit the country without having to see at least 10 people smoking. Even if it is for 2 days.
