Hey Verlisify I just wanted to thank you for making videos like this that teach breeding and IVs and EVs and how nature works and all that. I figured a lot of this out on my own over my years of pokemon but my husband is new to competitive. Your videos really help him understand what im talking about when Im working on something. I think all I can ask for is maybe a recap of hidden abilities and why you have to hunt for them compared to ither abilities. Maybe skim over the difference of a species of pokemon you can build 1 way with one nature and ability but a different way if you have a different ability. Im not sure he gets why i had 3 competitive Charizard in SM all doing different things.

@Verlisify when getting Berries, you can know with (close to) 100% accuracy if a PKMN is gonna drop on you because the tree starts shaking at twice the rate. When you first shake a tree it will shake once every 2-3 secs, when a PKMN is gonna drop on you it will shake about 1 per sec.

Appreciate the video, but I’m more confused now than I was before the video. I think you have a great understanding of the systems but for someone like me who hasn’t played Pokémon since Diamond you lost me.
